Starting a retreat with Neale Donald Walsch at the Montserrat Monastery, to the North of Barcelona in Catalonia Spain today. As I have mentioned before, what lights up my day is empowering you to find your unique solution to reduce the butterflies of anxiety and self- doubt in daily life. As a qualified Hypnotherapist, I am trained in the skills required to work with my clients, but I also attend lots of workshops, conferences, and retreats throughout each year as part of my continuous self-development, and to develop deeper understandings of how best to approach the process of empowering others.
Having followed the work of Neale Donald Walsch for many years, it is such an exciting opportunity to attend a retreat with him. You may be familiar with Neale’s work, one of my favourite books which I can highly recommend is Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue this book contains little gems such as ……
‘It is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle, now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress. The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign — celebrate your struggle’
‘Your soul doesn’t care what you do for a living – and when your life is over, neither will you. Your soul cares only about what you are being while you are doing whatever you are doing.‘
‘Every human thought, word, or deed is based on fear or love. Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, hides, hoards, harms. Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, reveals, shares, heals. You have free choice about which of these to select‘
During the retreat, we will be guided to open a path to knowing the mind/soul connection not merely intellectually but experientially, while we also clear out old angers, resentments, disappointments and tragedies within a small group in a stunning setting. I feel excited, inspired and grateful for this amazing adventure !
