- Do you feel you are just not good enough?
- Are you stuck in a rut, feeling this is all there is to life?
- Are people very critical of you?
- Are you critical of others?
- Are there more arguments than discussions in your day?
We all experience moments of self doubt, low confidence, or low self-esteem from time to time that is only human. For many this can be a motivating factor to change things or to go and do something.
However sometimes things can get out of hand and can lead to feelings of being unable to cope, feeling trapped and helpless. Low confidence and self-esteem can be the result of a lifetime of small events, or from a single incident.
The good news is that none of us were born with these feelings. We all have confidence to some degree and have experienced confidence, confidence may show itself with friends, family or doing something we love. As a small child learning to walk you get up every time you fall over, confident you can get up and stay up. It is all happening at a subconscious level.
Confidence and self-esteem are very much a state of mind. “If we think we can or we think we can’t, we are probably right.” Henry Ford.
It doesn’t matter how long we may have been stuck in a sense of our limitations. If we go into a darkened room and turn on the light, it doesn’t matter if it has been dark for a day, a week or a thousand years – when we turn on the light and it is illuminated. Once we control our capacity for love and happiness, the light has been turned on. – Sharon Salzberg
Peace of mind is a gift we all deserve to have in our life.
What a client said
Over the last couple of months I have had the privilege of taking part in some of Doreen’s workshops, followed by some 1-2-1 sessions. My initial attraction to Shamrock HypnoTherapy was fueled partly by curiosity about what hypnotherapy was and whether it actually worked, but, if I’m honest, it was probably more by a hidden hope that it might be able to help me. I was not disappointed, it does work and Doreen, in her inimitable way, has been able to help me, to help myself, to just feel better………!!!

How can hypnotherapy help?
Ultimately, it’s a belief that drives the problem. Hypnotherapy helps you to discover for yourself what that belief is and what feelings we have around it, then creates a space for an insight which can empower you to change it. When we change our thinking we change our world.
